Windsor has more roundabouts than almost any town in Sonoma County, and it’s a point of civic pride — the Windsor River Road roundabout won a statewide engineering award in 2023 as one of only seven roundabouts in California with active railroad tracks running through it, carrying the SMART commuter train.
