Warranty Terms

Marquis Auto Body stands behind the quality of our work. We provide a lifetime workmanship warranty on qualifying collision repairs we perform, for as long as the original owner owns the vehicle. This page explains what that warranty covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim.

What Is Covered

• Workmanship on the collision repairs we performed — such as the quality of our structural, body, and refinish labor — for as long as you (the original owner) own the vehicle.
• Refinish/paint workmanship we performed (for example, finish application defects attributable to our work).

Parts and Materials

Replacement parts and paint materials carry the warranties offered by their manufacturers, which we pass through to you. Paint materials are warranted under the applicable Axalta refinish system warranty. Our workmanship warranty covers our labor, not the manufacturing of parts or materials.

What Is Not Covered

• Normal wear and tear, fading, or deterioration from age, the environment, or lack of maintenance;
• Damage from a subsequent accident, collision, abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper care;
• Rust or corrosion not caused by our repair work;
• Parts or repair methods that you or your insurer required us to use against our recommendation, including certain aftermarket or used parts;
• Pre-existing damage or conditions unrelated to the repair we performed;
• Mechanical, electrical, or other components not part of the repair we performed; and
• Repairs performed by anyone other than Marquis Auto Body.

Transferability

This warranty applies to the original owner of the vehicle at the time of repair and is non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

How to Make a Claim

If you believe a repair we performed has a workmanship issue, contact us as soon as possible so we can inspect the vehicle. Please keep your repair invoice, which documents the work covered. After inspection, we will determine whether the issue is covered and, if so, correct it.
