Automotive body repair is a blend of science, art and technology.

Since no two damaged cars are the same, there are many questions asked by our customers. Below are a few questions with answers we feel will be assistance to any customer.

Will you use new parts from my vehicle manufacturer?

The use of your original equipment manufacturers is always a first choice but these not always the most cost-effective. Due to the cost variance, many insurance policies require the use of aftermarket replacement parts. We suggest checking with your insurance agent to see what is covered under your policy.

Is it hard to match my paint?

It can be but at Marquis we have refinish technicians certified by the Axalta refinishing process, which includes written standard operating procedures and annual testing of knowledge. This continuous training in color technology ensures customer satisfaction.

My insurance company is steering me towards a certain auto body shop; do I have to go there?

The answer is no; the choice of an auto body shop is entirely yours. While your insurance agent might provide a list of preferred providers within their network, the choice is ultimately yours.

How long will repairs take?

We will always provide you an estimated time frame for your repairs. Things that can delay repairs are back ordered or special parts as well as hidden damage that will identified, estimated and approved. Of course, we will ensure you are kept updated throughout the entire process.

How soon after repairs are complete can I wash my car?

You can wash your car as soon as you get it back but recommend a brush less wash for 60 days along with no wax.
